Today's Smoothie

Yesterday I made a smoothie a wee bit thick. I ate it with a spoon. It was yummy but just annoying to eat. Today I made a smoothie with a much better texture.

I don't measure. I just drop it in and blend. Sorry.

OJ
Honey vanilla Greek yogurt
Kale
Spinach
Frozen strawberries
Ice
Green apple
1 tb ground flax
1tb chia seeds
1/2 banana

It was so good!! The chia seeds like to stick around in your teeth but as long as you floss it works out just fine.

Smoothies

Due to some illegal snacking lately I've switched from high calorie snacks to smoothies. I add chia seeds and ground flax to each one. I use OJ as my liquid and always add kale and spinach. The fruit combo is where I need some help. I might switch from OJ to pomegranate juice. Anyway. What are your favorite smoothies? Can you share your recipe with me? I'd look stuff up on Pinterest but I want real life and real person responses. Thanks.

PS I am working on a workout calendar where I do the shred one day, ripped, abs, kickboxing and yoga on alternating days instead of one video per month. I get too bored.

Starting 2013

I've been busy. Sorry. I am getting braces this month. I have so many mouth issues. It's not just cosmetic. Bummer. Oh well. At least I will get fixed and get pretty at the same time. Also, I am going back to work Wednesday evenings. I'm so thankful for an employer willing to work with me. I have a great babysitter. She is so fun with Cash. I know she will be so good to him while I'm gone. Ill miss him but at least I can work again and feel like myself a little.
